Fellow 7x24, WIMCO, and DCYP Members

It is with great enthusiasm and commitment that I have accepted the position of 7×24 Rocky Mountain Chapter President.

As I am fairly new to the 7×24 RMC community, I want to take some time to introduce myself and share a little about my history and what led me to this point.

I was introduced to the mission critical environment in 1996 at a very small data center in Louisville Colorado.  I originally took the job mounting tapes on the night shift because I wanted the $3 an hour raise.  I was immediately hooked and wanted to know more.  Over the next 27 years, I took every opportunity to try different roles and learn everything I could about data centers.  This has led me to California, Texas, Oklahoma and back to Colorado.  Throughout my career I have been fortunate to have been able to work in diverse roles including technical programming, hands on racking and stacking, Management, and direct customer facing roles which has allowed me to gain a wholistic view of the industry from the inside out.  All my roles have led me to where I am today as the Property Manager for North America at Vantage Data Centers where I lead our high priority initiatives and activities across the NA Operations organization.

As we embark on this new chapter, I want to share with you our vision for the future of 7×24 RMC. Our organization has a rich history of education and support of mission critical systems and operations, and my goal is to continue this legacy of excellence while also exploring new avenues for growth and impact.

Mission Reinforcement: We will remain steadfast in our commitment to providing an educational forum bringing together organizations to promote a better understanding of design, execution, and management issues involved in achieving reliability within all facets of mission critical systems and operations.

Community Engagement: Building a strong sense of community is essential for the success of any non-profit organization. I am eager to engage with each of you, listen to your ideas, and work together to strengthen our bonds and broaden our reach.

Transparency and Communication: Open and transparent communication is crucial. We will keep you informed about our activities, achievements, and challenges through regular updates, newsletters, and other channels.

Collaboration and Partnerships: By fostering collaboration and forming strategic partnerships, we can amplify our impact. I am committed to exploring opportunities for collaboration with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our vision.

I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has been part of our 7×24 RMC community. Your dedication, support, and passion for our mission have been the driving force behind our success in the 7×24 Rocky Mountain region, and I look forward to building upon this strong foundation together with our Board of Directors
