Vali Sorell, PE – Keynote Speaker
President at Sorell Engineering, Inc.

COMBINING PERFORMANCE METRICS FOR THE MOST CRITICAL RESOURCES:  ENERGY AND WATER

“What is the True Value of Water Consumption in Your Data Center?”

When tasked with developing their next data center, building owners and operators often ask their designers for mechanical systems that use little or no water.

Given the scarcity of water in some areas of the U.S., along with the recent Extreme and Exceptional droughts in California and other parts of the U.S. during these pasts few years, it would appear that waterless mechanical cooling systems are much more eco-friendly. Is this really the case?

Vali will propose solutions that are easily workable and can be used as a tool to unpack the realities from myths.

There will be a panel to discuss the usage of water in data centers and the true cost of ownership. Panelists will be:
Mr. Rich Belt with Xcel Energy
Mr. Greg Baker with Aurora Water
Ms. Brook Gummere with Swanson Rink
Mr. Scot Heath with Enabled Energy
Mr. Michael Brunson with OneNeck IT Solutions
