Please note that this deadline has already passed for the November 6 tour. Non-U.S. citizens should contact Ellen Martinez as soon as possible to determine whether an FNAR can still be initiated for this event.
An FNAR must be approved before a foreign national can visit an NLR campus.
Foreign National Access Request (FNAR)
Any visitor who is not a U.S. citizen must complete an FNAR.
If you receive an FNAR invitation:
- You will have 5 days to respond to the invitation.
- If you do not respond within the 5-day window, the request will time out and be canceled.
- If the request is canceled, the FNAR process must be started again.
- FNAR invitations may be delivered to your junk or spam folder, so please monitor those folders carefully.
NLR requires the following minimum lead times for FNAR processing:
- 15 calendar days for nonsensitive-country requests
- 60 calendar days for sensitive-country (“other designated country”) and country-of-risk requests
NLR has advised that no exceptions to these lead times have been granted to date.
