Join WiMCO for an Afternoon of Volunteering and Networking
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of 7×24 Exchange’s Women in Mission Critical (WiMCO) group is excited to host a volunteer event at Food Bank of the Rockies in Aurora. This is a great opportunity to give back to our local community, connect with fellow women in the mission critical industry, and support an organization that is making a meaningful difference in the fight against hunger.
About Food Bank of the Rockies
Food Bank of the Rockies is the largest hunger-relief organization serving Colorado and Wyoming. Its mission is to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. Through partnerships with hundreds of hunger-relief organizations, the food bank distributes food and essential items to individuals and families across the region.
The organization recently opened a new distribution and volunteer center in Aurora, expanding its capacity to store, sort, and distribute food to communities experiencing food insecurity. The facility was designed to increase operational efficiency and create more opportunities for volunteers to support the organization’s growing mission.
Every volunteer shift directly supports Food Bank of the Rockies’ efforts to provide nutritious food to neighbors in need. Tasks may include sorting donations, packing food boxes, or preparing products for distribution to partner agencies throughout the region.
