PROGRAM: Matthew Melis, an Aerospace Engineer at NASA’s Glenn Research Center, will discuss Management of Complex Systems. This includes his involvement in the seven-month long Space Shuttle Columbia Accident Investigation and NASA’s efforts to return the remaining Shuttles to space flight. Matt tells a fascinating story, one relatable to our Data Center world. He includes many video clips and lessons learned experiences, all the while memorializing our country’s lost hero astronauts. We’ll follow this up with a Panel Discussion comparing the challenges of managing our Data Centers. Networking Reception and Lunch included.
