THE 7X24 EXCHANGE ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHAPTER CONGRATULATES OUR 2023 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WINNERS!
Due to the outstanding support of our members and sponsors, the Rocky Mountain Chapter was thrilled to present three $3,000 educational scholarships to very deserving students. Our chapter believes that the mission critical data center industry will reach new heights by encouraging our best and brightest students to pursue a career in this industry. We hope that our annual scholarship helps plant the seeds necessary to tackle the mission critical data center challenges of the future.
EVAN HAUT
School: Colorado School of Mines
Major: Electrical Engineering – Emphasis on Power and Energy Systems
Notes: Evan is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the IEEE Club. He has served as a TA and tutor in Electrical Engineering; Programming and Advanced Mathematics. Evan comes from a previous 10-year career in hospitality management. He enjoys hiking and has hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018
ALEXANDRA FIELD
School: Colorado School of Mines
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Notes: Alexandra is a member of the National Chinese Honors Society. She is also a Junior Volunteer Firefighter and enjoys saber fencing and playing the piano. Alexandra has an internship with Applied High Voltage in May 2023.
SAM BANGAPADANG
School: Colorado School of Mines
Major: Computer Science – Emphasis in Data Science
Notes: Sam is a member of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE); First-generation college student Bliss Scholar; member of the Association for Computing Machinery. Sam enjoys swimming, power lifting and gaming.
We also encourage our chapter membership and sponsors to reach out to our students when internships are available within their companies.
