2019 Scholarships

The 7X24 Exchange Rocky Mountain Chapter Congratulates Our 2019 Scholarship Award Winners!

Due to the outstanding support of our members and sponsors, the Rocky Mountain Chapter was thrilled to present “Three” $1,500 educational scholarships to very deserving local students. Our chapter believes that the mission critical industry will reach new heights by encouraging our best and brightest students to pursue a career in this industry. We hope that our annual scholarship helps plant the seeds necessary to tackle the mission critical challenges of the future.

This year we hosted an event at Top Golf where we learned about Solid State Breakers and Lithium UPS Batteries. We invited our awardees to attend a scholarship recognition at the event. All three of the awardees were able to attend! Each of them received their token check to thunderous applause from our members and sponsors.

This year’s winners are:

Katrina Lidgard

School: Colorado School of Mines
Major: Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Power Systems
Notes: Katrina is a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Warren Harris

School: Metropolitan State University – Denver
Major: Industrial Design; Minor in Architecture
Notes: Warren supports numerous community running events for kids.

Graham Braly

School: Colorado School of Mines
Major: Electrical Engineering

We also encourage our chapter membership and sponsors to reach out to our students when internships are available within their companies.

Our chapter looks forward to next year’s scholarship season!
